THE ROOP recently returned from Warsaw. They were invited to support Poland’s mega band COMA.
“The show was sold out. The audience gave a really warm welcome to our performance. We found connection with them. We are still getting messages from people who attended the show, saying that they liked us and that they’d wait for us in Poland again. This inspires.” - shared his impressions drummer Robertas.
Band’s leader Vaidotas was also extremely impressed with the super band COMA itself.
“This band contains so much energy and variety of styles that it seems that you’re listening to Chopin’s and Adam Mickiewicz’s polka, all ran through a guitar amp.”
Today THE ROOP introduces their new radio single “74 Miles” from a recent debut album “To Whom It May Concern”. This is a song about returning home, about the excitement when you know someone is waiting for you.
The guys found some reasearch information on the internet about the distance to home at which a person gets the feeling that he’s close and the desire to reach the goal rises. The answer was you get the feeling 74 miles to home.
“I do not know if this is undeniable truth, but I was fascinated by the metaphor of the number which we used in our song” - told Vaidotas.
Now you can listen to the latest song.
